Frequently Asked Questions
Should I be a psychologist or a therapist?
Nope. What you do need: empathy, curiosity and a genuine desire to help others grow. We'll teach you the rest.
I'm already a coach. So isn't this too basic?
Not at all. The Inuka Method gives you a structured, science-based foundation - like solid roots under your existing practice.
I have experienced difficult things myself. So can I still participate?
Yes you can, Gladly even. We expect our coaches to be people too 😉 Some of our best coaches know what it's like to go through burnout, grief, anxiety or big changes. Life experience an help you empathize with how another person feels. We teach you how to safely make space for that - for the other person and for yourself.
Do I automatically become an Inuka coach after training?
It depends. If we're a match, we'll invite you to join our freelance coach pool. We hire new coaches based on need: think language, location and availability.
Will I get paid?
Sure! Inuka is a paid platform. Rates vary, but we strive for fair pay that grows with your experience.
Can I set my own hours?
Yes! You set your own schedule. Many Inuka coaches do this work part-time, in addition to other work or projects.
Is this accessible worldwide?
Yes. If you have internet and a quiet place to coach, then you are ready.
Will I receive post-training counseling?
To be sure. You get:
- Guidance and feedback from real people (not bots)
- An active community of fellow coaches
- Regular Q&As and in-depth sessions
